The Polyclinic joins Optum Care

The Polyclinic’s partnership with Optum Care was finalized on December 31, 2018. Optum Care is the physician-led, care delivery division of Optum, a national health services company. 

This partnership gives us the flexibility and freedom to remain physician led. It also means we’ll have significant resources to grow, serve more patients and innovate faster.

Our doctors and executive leaders began the search for a strategic partner in 2016. A top priority was to retain control over patient care and decision making. This allows our doctors to maintain a strong voice, something that makes The Polyclinic special.

Our clinics will operate as usual. Our physicians, staff and management will stay the same. Patients will see the same providers and work with the same care teams. And we’ll continue to accept the same insurance plans.

Future plans include adding new locations. This will help us bring our multispecialty care to communities around Seattle. We’ll also introduce new services that let our patients and doctors connect in ways that work best for them.
