New Cardiology Suite Opens at the James Tower at Cherry Hill

On Monday, August 6, 2007, our cardiology department will open in a newly remodeled space down the street at the Swedish Cherry Hill Campus (formerly known as Providence Hospital).  Our new address is The Polyclinic Cardiology, James Tower, 550 17th Ave., Suite 400, Seattle, WA 98122.

The Polyclinic Supports the Puget Sound Health Alliance on its Recommendations to Close Clinics to Drug Reps

SEATTLE –  In January 2003, The Polyclinic enacted a policy that banned pharmaceutical representatives from entering the clinic.  The Polyclinic believes visits from sales reps are disruptive to patient care, and ultimately undermine the organization’s commitment to providing the highest quality of care at a reasonable cost. 

Polyclinic Physicians Still in Regence Network

On Thursday, May 25th, the Seattle Times ran an article announcing that Regence BlueShield dropped nearly 500 doctors from the Regence Select Network. Polyclinic physicians are still covered within this network. Patients should ultimately check with Regence for all benefits information, however, it is our understanding that all of our physicians are covered under this plan.
