Dr. Nakamoto earned her medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University, Portland, Oregon. She completed a residency in internal medicine, McGaw Medical Center, Northwestern University, Chicago, Illinois and a fellowship in general nephrology and transplant nephrology, McGaw Medical Center, Northwestern University, Chicago.
Special Interests:
Dr. Nakamoto has a strong interest and clinical expertise in renal physiology, including electrolyte and acid base disorders, management of hypertension and caring for patients in all stages of chronic kidney disease as well as the management of renal complications in pregnancy. She also has expertise in transplantation and complications in transplantation.

Personal Information
Dr. Nakamoto grew up in Bellevue, Washington and returned to the area to raise her family. She and her husband have two children, one in preschool and one school age. The doctor is an avid soccer enthusiast.
