Board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Becker, a longtime Seattleite, earned his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine, then completed Internship and Residency training in Pediatrics, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. He returned to the UW for an Allergy and Immunology fellowship, plus two years as a Senior Research Fellow in Infectious Disease.
Dr. Becker’s practice encompasses all areas of allergy, asthma and clinical immunology. He has special interest in allergies to indoor/outdoor environmental allergens, asthma, difficult chronic sinusitis, eczema, food allergy, chronic hives/recurrent swellings, and immunodeficiency.

Pending appointment promotion to full Clinical Professor, Pediatrics, at the University of Washington. He is involved ongoing in the teaching of medical students, residents, and Fellows-in-Training in allergy at the UW.

The doctor is a co-recreational soccer player and competitive international postal history exhibitor. Dr. Becker, his wife, and school-aged children reside in Seattle.
