Dr. Ali received her medical degree from the University of Toronto and completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at The Toronto Hospital.
Dr. Ali’s practice covers all areas of heart disease with a particular interest in primary prevention and the treatment of more advanced forms of heart disease, including the management of patients who may need an interventional cardiology procedure. Dr. Ali works closely with Polyclinic resources such as the Lipid Clinic, Nutrition Education, Diabetes Education and Menu For Change weight loss program to augment her expertise in preventative care. She helps to identify risk factors for the disease in patients who do not yet have a diagnosis with a goal of avoiding disease progression. Dr. Ali sees patients at various stages of heart disease to help manage their condition.
