ABOUT THE POLYCLINIC COMMUNITY HEALTH FOUNDATION
Physicians at The Polyclinic know that they can do more for their patients by working together than they can do alone. With this in mind, in 2004, they formed The Polyclinic Community Health Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health of Polyclinic patients and their community. The Foundation is committed to bridging gaps between what patients need and what they can afford.
The Polyclinic Community Health Foundation’s pharmacy assistance program helped more than 160 patients receive 3800 different prescriptions in 2010 alone. Because pharmacy industry grants cover what small overhead expenses exist for The Foundation, 100% of donated money goes to fund programs. For every dollar donated, The Foundation is able to provide $4 worth of medication to patients through generous at-cost pricing of drugs from Kelley Ross and by enrolling patients in various pharmaceutical assistance programs.
The work of The Polyclinic Community Health Foundation would not be possible without the support of Kelley-Ross Pharmacy and assistance programs from a variety of pharmaceutical companies, as well as the physicians, employees, and patients of The Polyclinic.
