Dr. Showell received her Doctor of Medicine from Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, and went on to complete her residency at the internal medicine department of Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, California and her chief residency at St. Mary's Medical Center in San Francisco.

Special Interests:

Dr. Showell's practice encompasses all areas of internal medicine with a special interest in adult onset diabetes, hypertension, congestive heart failure and preventative medicine.
