Education:

Dr. Makielski received her medical degree from the University of Michigan and completed advanced training in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery.

Special Interests:

Dr. Makielski’s practice encompasses all fields of otolaryngology with a special interest in pediatric otolaryngology, including the placement of ear tubes (myringotomy), sinus disease and sinus surgery.

Practice Philosophy:

"Every patient’s case is different. It’s important to listen to the patient carefully, inform them fully, and then determine the best treatment plan. Where possible, I include the family and the primary care provider."

Co-author and illustrator of the book, Surgical Anatomy of the Face.
