Education:
Dr. Flugstad earned a medical degree from the University of Washington, and completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Washington. He also completed a fellowship in orthopedic oncology at the Harvard School of Medicine.
Special Interests:
Dr. Flugstad's special interests include total joint replacements (hips, knees, shoulders), revision total joint arthroplasty, musculoskeletal tumor surgery (bone and soft tissue/benign and malignant tumors), and arthroscopic surgery.
Practice Philosophy:
"Within my areas of special interest and expertise, there are no musculoskeletal problems that are too complex to solve or manage. I am available to serve the medical community as a resource for diagnostic and therapeutic dilemmas."
Teaching Involvement:
