Education:

Dr. Veal earned a medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Washington. He also completed a pulmonary and critical care fellowship at the University of Alabama.

Special Interests:

Dr. Veal's clinical practice is limited to inpatient medicine. He also serves as director for The Polyclinic's pulmonary department, and provides medical directorship for Swedish Medical Center's critical care units and TeleICU.

Teaching Involvement:

Clinical associate professor of medicine, University of Washington; teaching faculty at Swedish Medical Center First Hill and Providence campuses.
