Dr. Yang was born and raised in China, where he earned his medical degree from the West China University of Medical Sciences. He earned his Master of Science in neuroscience from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, B.C. and completed an internship in internal medicine at the New York Hospital, Medical Center of Queens, Flushing, New York. He completed a neurology residency at Indiana University.
With intensive training in electrodiagnostic medicine, Dr. Yang has special interests in peripheral nerve and muscle disorders, such as peripheral neuropathy, neck and back pain, limb numbness and weakness, sciatica, and carpal tunnel syndrome. In addition, his practice covers a wide range of general neurology, including stroke, epilepsy, headache, and movement disorders.
