Krajcer, Anthony M., MD

Education: 

Dr. Krajcer earned a medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Arizona Department of Medicine, Tucson Hospitals.  He completed a fellowship in rheumatology and clinical immunology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center, in San Antonio.

Special Interests:

Dr. Krajcer diagnoses and manages inflammatory, auto-immune, and degenerative musculoskeletal diseases in adults.  His specific areas of interest include inflammatory arthritis, inflammatory muscle diseases, systemic lupus erythematosus, mixed-connective tissue disease, and scleroderma.  He is also interested in the use of ultrasound in the evaluation and management of joint disease as it pertains to rheumatology.

Practice Philosophy:

“I believe that the patient and I work together towards the best possible outcome as a team.  This involves listening carefully, making sure the patient is well informed, and after reviewing all available options, choosing a treatment plan together with the patient.  I provide patients with the tools necessary to remain active participants in their own care.”
