Breast Imaging Center Moves to New Location

The Polyclinic Breast Imaging Center is now open at our First Hill location.  Formerly called the Breast Center, the Breast Imaging Center has two direct digital Hologic units and one new GE ultrasound room.  The additional mammography unit allows greater patient access, enabling patients to stay within The Polyclinic for comprehensive breast imaging services. The lovely new space, located on the first floor, is larger, more modern and offers greater privacy for patients.

Flu Vaccine Now Available

The Flu Vaccine Clinic at our First Hill location is now open.  Flu shots will be available for adult patients every weekday from 8:30 am  – 4:30 pm and no appointment is required. The cost is $35 for injections, $45 for the FluMist® nasal flu vaccine spray and if you are a patient of The Polyclinic, we are happy to bill your insurance (You’ll need to review your insurance policy to determine if it covers a flu vaccination.)

 The Polyclinic’s Lipid Clinic provides education and management of lipid or cholesterol disorders for patients who have had a heart attack or stroke, and those who want to prevent one. Our staff develops individualized prevention and treatment plans, including medication management and coaching with behavior and lifestyle changes. Areas addressed may include:

·        Weight management

·        Physical activity

·        Smoking cessation

·        Stress management

·        Referral to specialists in diabetes management, sleep medicine, physical therapy or nutritionists as appropriate for overall cardiovascular risk reduction
